Penny was created almost overnight after successful radio spots on Sydney’s 96.9 FREE FM. Penny first appeared as host of The Midnight Shift’s New Years Eve 1996 the start of a long relationship that Penny is incredibly proud of, that continues today.
Over the years of test broadcasts, Penny has developed a strong following in both the gay and wider communities. By the time the station had wrapped up Penny was working solidly throughout Sydney and beyond.
Apart from the regular miming and dancing Penny has taken drag further, hosting Trivia nights, Bingo, Speed Dating, Fashion Parades, Internet Broadcasts, Television spots for Foxtel, spectacular New Years Eve events in Mumbai 2003, Radio Spots on 2DAY FM, MMM, Nova and much more.

Prada Clutch
Prada Clutch is one of Sydney’s most sought after Showgirls. Drawing her inspiration from the likes of Dusty Springfield, Patty Labelle & Mariah Carey, Prada has performed at & hosted Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball & Fair Day, as well as a myriad of Sydney pubs, bars, nightclubs, restaurants & corporate events
Prada was recently awarded her first DIVA Award for “Outstanding Technical Contribution” for her fabulous work with wigs.

Loving every minute in show business, I have worked with music royalty from Chaka Khan and Thelma Houston to Kylie & Danii Minogue, all of whom have visited Stonewall Hotel whenever they are in town.
In 1998, Malebox was born at Stonewall Hotel and I have been there since its humble beginnings to the popular and successful night it is today which will celebrate 13years in early 2011. I assisted with the early Karaoke years along side Chelsea Buns as well done the odd bar and gaming shift. As a showgirl, I have performed all over the Sydney scene including Stonewall as well as many Mardi Gras and Sleaze parties, 2002 Gay Games , Sydney Olympics Closing Ceremony and other dance party shows with the highlight of leading the opening show for Mardi Gras’ 20th anniversary in 1998. This former DIVA poster girl and award winner is honoured to be part of the showgirl scene, and also a part of the Stonewall Family.

Hosted by Polly Petrie “Pollys Follies” began in 1991 at the world famous Albury Hotel. After the Alburys closure Pollys Follies moved to The Venus Room in Kings Cross & made it’s way back to Oxford Street at The Exchange Hotel & since 2004 has been held every Sunday at The Stonewall Hotel.
Pollys Follies is an institution in our community. It is the platform for up & coming new performers to show their talent or lack thereof. Polly provides encouragement, guidance & criticism during each performance whilst drinking from a champagne glass poured from her kettle. Always enjoying the amazing company of a leading entertainer every week.
Pollys is all about a good time, a fun time & of course, A GAY TIME.
